To find this smoking spot, take Exit 2 from Tawaramachi Station. Once you reach street level, walk south on the main street for less than a minute. You will easily spot the iconic orange, green, and red sign of the 7-Eleven Tawaramachi Station Store on the corner of the block. The designated standing smoking area is located right next to the store's entrance.
Please keep in mind that Taito Ward (Taito-ku) has incredibly strict ordinances regarding public smoking. Smoking while walking, or lighting up outside of designated yellow-marked zones, is strictly prohibited and carries an on-the-spot fine of 2,000 JPY. When using this spot, please stand close to the ash receptacle, keep your volume down, and respect local residents and shoppers entering the store.
