Shiraishi Store (しらいし商店; the sign above the door reads 白石商店) is a tobacconist and corner store in Yoshidahigashi, Mizumaki, Fukuoka Prefecture, about 400 metres from Higashi-Mizumaki Station. The shop opened in 1970 (Showa 45), and the second generation took it over in 2008 (Heisei 20), as the shop told Smok.
Its speciality is rolling tobacco: the shop's own Google description speaks of rolling-tobacco shag, rolling tools, pipes, kiseru and a wide assortment, and the awning names 葉巻 (cigars), パイプ (pipes), キセル (kiseru) and 手巻きたばこ (rolling tobacco). The photos show shelves of Black Spider and Choice pouches, Backwood glass ashtrays, RAW trays and a Zippo capsule machine. Cigarettes are sold too — a sign at the door reads たばこ 店内販売中, “tobacco on sale inside” — and the shop is also a corner store, with the signs コンビニエンスストア and 酒 and snacks and sweets on the floor.
