KONYA Tobacco House (たばこハウスKONYA) is a specialist tobacco retailer in Kushiro, eastern Hokkaido — one of the few shops on the island stocking a genuinely complete range for smokers rather than just a convenience-store rack. Cigars, cigarillos, pipe tobacco, rolling tobacco, kiseru pipes, snus and shisha share the same modest storefront a short walk from JR Kushiro Station, making it a rare stop for anyone who can't find their usual brand anywhere else in the region.
The shop is best known locally for its rolling tobacco (RYO) selection — Amber Leaf, Drum, Mac Baren, Redfield and most other major brands are kept in stock, alongside a filter and rolling-paper wall large enough to satisfy most preferences, plus rolling machines for anyone who hasn't brought their own. A dedicated smoking room lets customers light up right after buying, and vending machines out front cover soft drinks — including a retro glass-bottle Coke machine — plus cigarettes for Japanese residents with an ID card (see below).
